Fischer famously called it "the best chess set I have ever played on." Originally seen at the 9th Chess Olympiad in Dubrovnik, Croatia, the set is a rare and highly sought-after collector's item.

Felts: Thick green felt precisely envelops the base of each chess men.

Note: Original Dubrovnik chess pieces are non-weighted. Commercially available 1970 chess set (used by Bobby Fischer) design is slightly changed from the actual 1950 Dubrovnik but the difference is not hugely noticeable. The actual 1950 Dubrovnik Olympiad chess set was never sold in any store.
