1940s Art Deco Series Weighted Chess Pieces in Sheesham and Boxwood. This is a simple yet interesting Seamless Minimalist design that features a 3.8" King with a base diameter of 1.38". Dark chess pieces are exquisitely crafted in Sheesham wood. Each chessman is carefully handcrafted in India and influenced by our minimalist series. Each of the chess pieces has thick green felt on its base.
The opposing pieces are made of boxwood which is traditionally used for the white side. It is one of the fairly easy woods to work with and shows off aesthetic detail. The set comes with free extra queens for effortless pawn promotion.
Weight: 1050 grams approx. (37.03 oz). Please note that the weight in the set is added manually so the final weight of the set can vary by plus or minus (±) 10%.
