Features: The Lotus Series weighted chess pieces offers a 6.14" King with a diameter of 1.45" and all chess pieces are Weighted by adding a stud of iron within the base. Each of the chess pieces have thick green felt on their bases. The dark chess pieces are made of  Bud Rosewood and the lighter chess pieces are made of Box wood.

Design & Build Quality: All of the chess pieces bases have hand-selected thick green felt that feels luxurious & also provides for better stability. The thick green felt precisely envelops the base of each chess men. The thick green felt also helps to protect the finish & surface of the chess board from scratches, which is why we crafted it as passionately as we did. The chess pieces are beautifully crafted in Bud Rosewood & box wood. Bud Rosewood will give you luxurious touch & premium feel in your hand. We use high quality Buff polish on each of our chess pieces. There are several layers of polish coating each of the chess pieces. These details make the experience. These details make the chess pieces brilliant.

Heart's desire: Each piece of The Lotus Series is a true value for the money. The chess pieces are hand-weighted, hand-polished and have thick green felt base pads applied by the artisan himself, a very detailed and time-consuming process. We still weren’t satisfied. So we considered enhancing it. We identified a key way in which we could in order to ensure that each chess set that bears his name is as close to perfect as possible. Within the market, The Lotus Series value for money chess sets have pieces that have been weighted with the most advanced weighting system technique. This technique allows us to achieve the same level of weighting with a minimum amount of material, thus eliminating the possibility of cracks.
