Flame and Frost Painted Staunton Weighted Wooden Chess Pieces - 4.0" King with Extra Queens

Features : The Flame and Frost Painted Series weighted chess pieces offers a 4" King with a diameter of 1.7" and all chess pieces are Weighted by adding a stud of iron within the base. Each of the chess pieces has thick green felt on their bases.

Weight : 1250 grams (44.09 Oz). Please note that the weight in the set is added manually so the final weight of the set can vary by plus or minus (±) 10%.

Design & Build Quality : All of the painted chess pieces bases have hand-selected thick green felt that feels luxurious & also provides for better stability. The thick green felt precisely envelops the base of each chessmen. The thick green felt also helps to protect the finish & surface of the chess board from scratches, which is why we crafted it as passionately as we did.

The design, quality and craftsmanship of these painted chess pieces is unmatched by any other chess set in its class. No other chess set even comes close to The Staunton Series. Anything that doesn’t add value has been stripped away. So the focus is on what matters most. And it resulted in an extraordinary chess set.

The Shadow of legend : Each piece of The Staunton Series is hand-weighted, hand-painted and have thick green felt base pads applied by the artisan himself, a very detailed and time-consuming process. We still weren’t satisfied. So we considered enhancing it. We identified a key way in which we could in order to ensure that each chess set that bears his name is as close to perfect as possible.
