Skillfully handcrafted in luxurious Ebony Wood and Natural Boxwood, this set showcases the iconic Staunton style with original King's Side markings on both Kings and Rooks.

The King measures 3.75 inches in height with a robust 1.73-inch base, offering a finely balanced and comfortably weighted feel that enhances every move. The knight, a true focal point of this collection, stands out with its deep hand-carved detailing, bold expression, and unique character. The entire design pays tribute to the classic Nimzovich period - subtle, sophisticated, and tournament-ready.

Material: The dark army is crafted from premium-grade Ebony Wood, cherished for its elegant grain, strength, and deep finish. The light side is made from Natural Boxwood, known for its traditional charm and excellent carving properties.

Weight: Total set weight is approximately 1366 grams (48.18 oz). Please note: weights are manually added to each piece, so a slight variation of ±10% is possible.

Each piece features double-weighting and is finished with soft green baize pads at the base - ensuring a smooth, noise-dampened glide with every move. This set includes 34 chessmen in total, with 2 additional queens for convenient pawn promotion during advanced gameplay.

Craftsmanship: Every chess piece is individually hand-turned and polished to a refined semi-gloss finish. The knights are meticulously hand-carved, showcasing delicate attention to features like the ears, mane, and muzzle.
