The Taj Staunton Series Carved Chess Pieces in Rosewood & Box Wood - 3.5" King

The Taj Series in Staunton pattern is made up of rose wood and boxwood. The King proudly stands at 3.5 inches and its base is robust 1.4 inches. The dark chess pieces are made of rosewood wood and the opposing pieces are made up of boxwood which is traditionally used for white side. The set comes with free extra queens for effortless pawn promotion. All chess pieces are expertly carved and weighted for fantastic hand-feel and a very nice thud on the wooden chess board.
