This FIDE Approved Staunton-style chess set is crafted from Sheesham & Boxwood, designed for tournaments and serious players.

The King stands at 3.66 inches with a 1.57-inch base. Featuring a historic one-piece knight with intricate details, the set exhibits superior craftsmanship. Weighted at 1010g (±10%), all pieces have a thick green felt base for smooth movement.

Boxwood is traditionally used for the white side, ensuring aesthetic appeal. The set includes extra queens for effortless promotion. The knight carving reflects the finest Indian craftsmanship.

History: Originally designed by Chavet in the early 90s, this set was used in the 1990 Lyon World Chess Championship. It remains one of the best Staunton-style designs.

Craftsmanship: Each chess piece is handcrafted in India, taking inspiration from our German Knight Tournament Series. With elegant curves, unique collar rings, and finely turned lathe work, the set mirrors high-end versions sold for $500+.
