Introducing the new 4.25" Repro 1950s' Dubrovnik Bobby Fischer Weighted Chess Pieces Set, crafted in Ebony Wood and Boxwood. Indian Chess Company is the first to introduce this set with a 4.25" king height, continuing our tradition of being the first to bring the Dubrovnik reproduction to the world in 2013. The Dubrovnik chess set, known for its unique knight design and slightly ornate yet classic pieces, gained fame after being used in the 1950s' Chess Olympiad in Dubrovnik, Yugoslavia. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted, providing a satisfying weight and feel, and the contrasting light and dark tones enhance its visual appeal. Originally designed by Serbian sculptor Petar Poček for the 1950s' Olympiad, the set’s distinctive knights and smooth curves set it apart from traditional Staunton designs. While original sets are rare and expensive, Indian Chess Company offers an accurate, weighted reproduction that stays true to the original design, making it a perfect addition to any chess collection. Limited in quantity, this exquisite set combines aesthetic beauty with functional playability.

Features: Dubrovnik Bobby Fischer Reproduced Chess Set  is crafted with astonishing precision where the king proudly stands 4.25" tall with base of 1.8". Each chess pieces is Triple weighted and has a thick green felt on their bases. The dark chess pieces are made in Ebony  Wood  and the lighter chess pieces are made in Boxwood.
